Say Goodbye to Joints, Legs and Lower Back Pains With This Proven Anti–Inflammatory Juice Recipe!

You would rather get in your car than walk, right? Well, insufficient physical activity and spending most of your time sitting is the reason pain stabs you in your ankles, legs, knees and back. It is even worse in elderly.

Being inactive can largely affect your physical strength and the condition of your muscle structure.

However, pain can be triggered by many factors and conditions, including strains, gout, osteoarthritis, sprains, bursitis, rheumatoid arthritis and the like.

Chronic back pain affects everyday life and the way you work. Having constant pain strokes in your back draws you back from performing your regular tasks, and the issue goes to the extent that standing, sitting or sleeping are practically impossible.

Leg pain occurs as a result of long standing hours wear and tear, or certain injuries in bones, joints, tendons, muscles and ligaments. It can be also a matter of poor circulation.

Try this pain-relieving recipe and make your refreshing smoothie the minute you step in the kitchen.

Ingredients
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp turmeric powder (or 2” turmeric root)
  • 1 tbsp ginger powder (or 1” ginger root)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups pineapple
  • 2 celery stalks

Preparation

First you need to peel your lemon, orange and both roots, of course if you decide to use fresh ginger and turmeric. Otherwise you can use them in powder.

Next, clean your pineapple and remove the core. Cut it into chunks. Work all the ingredients in your blender.

Always use fresh and organic produce to avoid consuming GMOs, harsh chemicals, pesticides or heavy metals.

Some prefer using their juicer, but in that way you remain without your dietary fiber. Blending your ingredients into a smoothie provides a full pack of nutrients.

Health experts believe that by introducing more fiber and vitamin C into your diet you get less C-reactive protein in your body. The protein is considered as an inflammation marker, and it has been associated with ailments like heart disease, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Health Properties

Celery is rich in vitamin K. If by any chance you did not know it, vitamin K deficiency causes bone mineralization and abnormal cartilage.

Lemon is abundant in vitamins C and E, which are the mightiest antioxidants. Your body needs them to defend its cells against free radical damage. They aid in building strong connective tissues and collagen as well.

Bromelain in pineapple is efficient in relieving joint pain. It also relieves arthritis induced inflammation. Scientific evidence shows that this enzyme is packed with strong pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties, and it sure is more efficient than non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs.

According to a 2009 study that was published in The Journal of Alternative Complementary Medicine, turmeric is super rich in curcumin, an active ingredient that relieves pain and enhances knee function in patients with osteoarthritis. It has the same, and maybe even better effect than ibuprofen. Moreover, turmeric extract has shown to prevent particular joint destruction and severe joint inflammation.

Active compounds in ginger are able to suppress prostaglandins, inflammatory compounds that cause pain.
