WARNING: There is a New and Deadly Lung Disease Caused by Vaping! A Must-Read!

Many young adults are fond of vapes these days. Most claims that it could satisfy their hunger for cigarettes without causing harm to their bodies.

Little did they know that they could be at risk of developing the deadly disease called ‘popcorn lung’.

New studies by a group of Harvard scientists found a toxic chemical in 75 per cent of flavoured electronic cigarettes they tested just recently.

Diacetyl, a chemical which is used as a butter substitute in flavours like Cotton Candy and Cupcake, has been linked to respiratory disease, Bronchiolitis obliterans.

Although it is thought to be safe when eaten, the United States National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has said it could be hazardous when inhaled over a long period.

Bronchiolitis obliterans is a serious and irreversible condition in which the tiny air sacs in the lungs become scarred.

What are the symptoms of popcorn lung?

- cough
- shortness of breath
- fevers
- night sweats
- weight loss.

For the meantime, experts advised to  to avoid using vape first as further studies are need to be done.
